Become a Cacao Ceremony Facilitator: Level 1 Training on Koh Phangan
There is a calling that lives quietly in those who have felt the medicine of breath and cacao move through their own bodies — the calling to hold that space for others.
If you've sat in ceremony and felt something shift, you may already know it. People come to you in their hardest moments. You teach yoga, coach or do bodywork, and you want to bring breathwork and cacao into your work — with real skill, not guesswork. Level 1 is where that begins.
Four days on Koh Phangan
The Breathwork + Cacao Ceremony Facilitator Training: Level 1 is a live, four-day training for a small group: 4–6 hours a day, in English, in a quiet outdoor shala on Koh Phangan, Thailand. It's led by Andreas, founder of Cacao King, who has been walking with ceremonial cacao since 2017, learned alongside the Ngäbe people in Panama, and has guided over 1,000 people in ceremony.
- Day 1 — Dive deep. A full cacao ceremony and a full breath journey, as a participant. Then the why behind both.
- Day 2 — Holding space. The nervous system in ceremony, and how to meet whatever arises.
- Day 3 — Facilitation A to Z. Setup, opening, running the journey, closing — then a supervised practice round.
- Day 4 — Your ceremony. You guide a complete ceremony for people you've invited. Then your certificate.
Held with care
Breathwork is powerful, and we treat it that way. You learn to screen participants and to say no when it matters, to dose cacao by weight with a firm upper limit, and to meet crying, shaking, panic or shutdown with a practiced response. Emergency protocols are rehearsed before you ever need them.
What you leave with
- The facilitator manual: scripts for every stage, screening and consent forms, a dosing and safety reference
- A Level 1 certificate, awarded for demonstrated competence — not attendance
- Mentorship as you run your first ceremonies, and the Cacao King facilitator community
- A path to go deeper with Level 2 and Level 3, when you're ready
